17 years of Axway experience

After some years of experience abroad, I decided to start studying software engineering at the Institut Paul Lambin in Brussels. Once I had obtained my diploma, I continued my university education at ICHEC in Brussels to obtain a master’s degree in commercial and financial sciences.

I started my career with Axway Belgium in 2007. I was trained on axway’s accounting integration software with a view to working as a junior consultant at Fortis in Belgium (now BNP Paribas Fortis Bank). I very quickly became interested in Axway’s supervision solution called Sentinel. I carried out several supervision projects for Axway in Belgium and Luxembourg, but mainly for Axway’s other core business, managed file transfer.

For six years I worked for Axway as a consultant on their various solutions, accounting integration, supervision of file exchanges, flow integration, etc. Throughout this experience, I proved my ability to work on different subjects, products and clients at the same time.

Before leaving Axway in 2015, I had a pre-sales experience that focused on replacing XFB Gateway with SecureTransport.

In 2015 I set up my consultancy company in Luxembourg and from September 2015 to February 2017, I start an assignment at BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg as a production engineer. I mainly worked on their file exchange platform (CFT, XFB Gateway, Sentinel).

In 2017, I worked for Axway for six months on an accounting integration assignment (AXA Banque).

In October 2017, I worked for Société Générale in Luxembourg, developing accounting transformation rules in the Axway suite and maintaining the financial events recycling tool (Interplay).

In August 2018, I returned to BGL BNP Paribas in the bank’s middleware team and stayed there until June 2023. During this period I also worked for Société Générale, helping them migrate their Axway file exchange platform to a solution developed in-house.

In September 2023 to date, I’m helping Axway migrate some of their customers from their XFB Gateway platform to Secure Transport. During this period, I also spent several months working for Axway at Foyer Assurances in Luxembourg. The aim was to help them get to grips with Axway’s accounting integration solution.
